Search gives you answers. SemioSnap gives you better questions.
Most tools close a question with an answer. SemioSnap keeps it open long enough for the next question to appear.
A collection of documents can be seen as a landscape of concepts and associations. Snap the perspective, and it becomes a sequence of actors and events. Snap again, and you can follow arguments and causal chains, or expose the values and tensions that organize the material.
Each view reveals something the others hide. The snap between them is where discovery happens.
How it works
SemioSnap does most of its structural work deterministically. It identifies and organizes concepts, relationships, actors, events and other patterns, and turns them into interactive analytical views you can explore.
Frontier AI is used selectively where interpretation adds value: naming patterns, examining stories and tropes, refining arguments and causal relationships, interpreting tensions, and helping identify significant or unexpected findings.
The result isn't an AI answer replacing the material. It's a way to explore the material yourself — and see its structure from perspectives that are difficult to hold in your head at the same time.
Who it is for
SemioSnap is for anyone curious enough to look twice: curious readers, students, educators, researchers, lawyers, analysts and writers.
The same approach can be applied to a scientific literature, a legal case, a market, a historical question, a course of study — or The Count of Monte Cristo.
Where it runs
The app, its index and its storage are hosted in the United States. SemioSnap's structural analysis is computed deterministically, while selected interpretive features use frontier AI models.
